Please join us for our upcoming Exotics Encounter. The class will be held Wednesday, October 12th from 3:30-5:30 and is open to middle school and high school students. Registration is currently open. Please call our office for further details. 760-736-3636.
This fun class will be an interactive hands-on lecture and laboratory format. The focus will be on learning how the different species unique anatomy and physiology prepare them for different lifestyles. Students will handle and examine different species, interpret x-rays of different species and compare unique species adaptations.
The animals present will include:
An Amazon Parrot
A Lessor-Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
A Syrian Hamster
A Bearded Dragon
Other surprise species!
