Dr. Emily Binotti was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, in a bilingual household speaking both Portuguese and English. Growing up, she frequently visited the U.S. to spend time with her mother’s side of the family. Her lifelong love for animals inspired her dream of becoming a veterinarian. At 18, she moved to the U.S. to pursue that dream, beginning her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She later earned a Master of Arts in Biomedical Science in Arizona before attending the College of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University, where she graduated in 2022.

After returning to San Diego in 2022, Dr. Binotti joined a small animal hospital in Vista as an associate veterinarian under the mentorship of Dr. Caitlin Sacco. During this time, she gained invaluable experience and built a strong foundation for her career. Dr. Binotti is passionate about educating and supporting pet owners through medical decisions for their pets at every stage of life.

In her free time, Dr. Binotti enjoys hiking and visiting the beach with her Australian Cattle Dog mix, Meeko. She also shares her home with two black cats, Bagheera and Morty.
